8 травня — День пам’яті та перемоги над нацизмом у Другій світовій війні. У цей день Україна вшановує пам’ять мільйонів загиблих у найкривавішій війні ХХ століття. 8 травня — це день скорботи за жертвами війни 1939–1945 років і подяки тим, хто боровся з нацизмом, хто захищав світ від темряви та жорстокості. Ми пам’ятаємо кожного, хто віддав життя заради миру. Їхній подвиг — наша спадщина, їхня мужність — наш приклад, їхня боротьба — наша історія.
